Both of Mondays youth games have been abandoned due to rain. All Oxfordshire Youth Cricket is postponed on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th due to the predicted high temperatures.

Our Wilf Bennett cup campaign continued with a fine win at Wolvercote on Tuesday. Minster won the toss, batted first and posted 176 for 8 in their 20 overs. Former captain James Merriman with 52 and under 17 Captain Seamus Rowles with 44 leading a fine all round batting display. Wolvercote were restricted to 100 for 9 in reply , wickets shared amongst the bowlers, James Mattison the pick with 3 for 17.

On Saturday Minster recorded a much needed victory at Didcot. batting first we posted 207 for 8, with fifties from Nathan Harris and Harvey Yates. In reply we bowled out the home team for 78, Mark Goodwin with 3 for 16 from his 16 overs.
Our 2nd XI drew at home to Wroxton who batted first and declared on 230 for 9, Mehmood Munir and Tony Gardner with 4 wickets each. In reply Minster finished on 173 for 7 to secure a draw, opener Tom Pearson scoring 65 batting throughout at the crease for 3 hours!
Our Third XI maintained their unbeaten record in a tight game at Wroxton and remain top of their division. A fine opening partnership of 62 from Richard and Freddie Taylor set the tone here as we finished on 151 All Out. In reply Wroxton fell 12 short, 6 wickets here from Finlay Lomas and 4 from Jacob Shutie to cap a good away win.
Sunday Sharks lost at home to Oxenford. The visitors posted 217 for 9 in their 35 overs , Will Smith pick of the bowlers 4 for 32. In reply we made 179 Freddie Taylor with a quickfire 52.

We return to Wilf Bennett T20 action on Tuesday(23/6) with a local derby at home to Langford and on Saturday(27/6) we welcome Oxford to Wash Meadow .More local derbies for our other senior teams , seconds away to Witney Swifts and Thirds at Brize Norton home to Swinbrook. On Sunday(28/6) the Sharks are home to OCCSC at Wash Meadow

No Under 15 cricket was played in the last week but four under 13 games to report on . On Monday we beat Langford convincingly by 33 runs, great all round batting 4 wickets for Will Haynes.2 games on Thursday , another convincing win at home to Witney Mills and a Tie at Tiddington and a win on Sunday to maintain the 100% record in the Lomg Format. Grayson Summers and Will Haynes with 4 wickets each. Under 11s fell just short at Kingston Bagpuize in Sundays searing heat but the improvements are visible.

Under 11s are at home to Great Rissington at Wash Meadow on Sunday(28/6) and Dynamos, All Stars and Lions continue at Wash Meadow on Friday(26/6)
